Dwarf Budda Belly
When grown in a container and slightly stressed for water, this variety (Bambusa ventricosa) develops short, fattened culms. This is the only variety we carry that we do not recommend planting in the ground, as it will lose its distinct appearance and become large and weedy. Instead, we recommend keeping this one in a pot or other container. Dwarf Budda Belly is only available in 4-gallon pots.
Please note plants cannot be delivered off-island at this time. Plants are available for free pickup in Waialua on the North Shore of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.
