"Barbie" Blue

This stunning blue bamboo (Bambusa chungii var. barbelletta) is a slightly smaller version of our Tropical Blue variety (Bambusa chungii). Barbie reaches 20-26 feet tall, though it can easily be kept trimmed to a shorter height if desired. This variety works best as a statement plant or dense hedge due to its growing pattern. Powdery blue culms emerge from a sea of shimmering leaves, growing outward before angling up for a “bowl” or vase look. A truly elegant choice!
