Tropical Blue Bamboo
This stunning blue variety (Bambusa chungii) is a larger version of our “Barbie” Blue. Culms are blue when mature with a powdery white finish. Culms reach 25-35 feet tall with about a 2” diameter. With plenty of water and fertilizer, this plant will mature in three to five years with a 5 to 6.5 ft. diameter footprint. This is the perfect choice for those looking for a larger version of the “Barbie” Blue bamboo. This variety is currently only offered in 7-gallon pots.
